Time & Travel Distance:
During the course of preparation, a few meet ups will occur for wedding programs, venue visits, Caterer, Photographer, wedding planner/event coordinator, etc. (A kick-off/introductory consultation & a final consultation 2 weeks prior to the wedding). Included is also the time involved in organizing creating playlists specifically for your wedding/event in advance—that takes several hours of time. On the wedding/event day, travel distance, time, setup & tear down, performance at your wedding/event, and break down is factored into the cost.
Indoors versus Outdoors:
Costs may increase if there are two venues required to set up; outdoors & indoors. Additional equipment such as power cords and other items may be needed.
Special requests:
Costs may be affected if the couple requests music that requires time to research & download. Music that is not in my existing library.
Size of event:
Relatively large weddings may mean a higher DJ bill if additional speakers, microphones or upgraded sound equipment are required to properly serve the crowd.
